Ministries at Hinson

Families

Children (nursery - 5th grade)
Our prayer is that children would see a vibrant faith in their parents and in the family of the church. And that they would nurture a faith that endures to the end and leads to generations of godliness. Sunday School and "Disciple Makers" (pre-k through first grade program during the sermon) are programs that seek to come alongside parents in a Word-centered, positive, and safe way. For more information contact, Daniel Schreiner.

Youth (6 - 12 grade)
We seek to equip and support parents in the task of evangelizing and discipling their children. We try to connect teenagers with adults in our congregation who can model a life centered on the Gospel.  Youth meet regularly at the following days and times:

  • Sunday School at 9:15 am - High School (Room 312), Middle School (Room 311)
  • Wednesday evenings (6:30-8:00 pm) focus on small group discussions.

Check the calendar for times and locations of youth events such as retreats and mission trips. For more information, contact Daniel Schreiner.

Young adult

College students are encouraged to come to our regular all-church events and activities including Sunday School at 9:15am. On Monday nights, young adults get together for a Bible Study at Jon & Holly Schnur's home from 7:00-8:30pm. For more information contact Daniel Schreiner.

Women

Our Women’s Ministry exists to engage women with the truth of God’s Word in the context of meaningful relationships. Women are encouraged to participate in any of the following:

Men

Our Men’s Ministry provides men with opportunities to connect with other men and challenge one another to live as God made us to live. As men, we have the unique privilege and responsibility to lead and serve in a way that reflects God’s image. To that end, we hold a monthly Men’s Breakfast, on the third Saturday mornings at 8:00AM, in the Dining Hall. We also have men’s groups that meet throughout the week for accountability and Bible study. Join us as we spend time in fellowship, Word, prayer, and service.
